Many people have heard about God all their lives, starting with Sunday School as a small child. They've heard that Jesus is the Son of God.  They've heard that he was crucified on the cross, was buried, spent three days in hell, was resurrected on the third day, and then ascended to heaven to apply His blood to the Mercy Seat on our behalf so that we may have our sins totally acquitted.

 

 

Knowing ABOUT the Lord Jesus is not the same as being in RELATIONSHIP with Him. A relationship places us in the family of God by adoption (Ephesians 1:5) through Jesus Christ. It's a rebirth (John 3:3) that begins when you "confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead." Then, you "are saved." (Romans 10:9-10)

 

So just Confess now, out loud, that "I receive you, Jesus, as my Lord."
